disappointed my animation keeps getting deleted

Posted by UNCENSORED-CAT - 2 weeks ago

my first newgrounds animation was not good enough to be on here... i tried to repost a few times but i do admit it was not very high quality...i'm sure i'll come up with something good to animate and actually post. disappointed tho.

haven't seen it, so I can't say how it was like. How long was it? If it's very short it needs to be very good otherwise it'll quickly get blammed. Longer animations may pass even if they appear a bit lackluster otherwise, at least from what I remember seeing.

Good luck!

it was about a minute long, if that helps.

@UNCENSORED-CAT yeah that's long enough to not be immediately classified as a demo. I don't know what else to say other than good luck, and I hope your future submissions get approved by the community.

thx, it was basically just me talking over some character sprites, but i too hope my future ones will be approved.

It probably got deleted because it got blammed (AKA scored lower than 1.5 in ratings). This basically means almost everyone thinks it is indeed a low quality animation. I couldn't see the animation myself, so I can't speak for others, but usually that tends to be the reason, so instead of seeing it as a disappointment, I'd recommend you to look at it as an opportunity.

Who knows, maybe this is the small push in the right direction you need

thx, i'll spend more time on it next time.

"i tried to repost a few times"...

Please read the rules. That kind of behavior could get you banned from uploading any movies for quite a while.

oh shit, i didn't know that. i'm sorry, i won't do that again.
